Kervtuza Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 Hey Guys, Is there a way to make a flexible flash website? I am pretty new to Flash and it seems like whenever I make a site unless I pick the right dimensions it won't display properly in the browser, is there a way to use HTML or CSS to fix this? Quote
falkencreative Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 You can use a percentage of the total browser width, rather than using pixel dimensions. That said, make sure that using Flash is absolutely necessary. Flash is definitely going out of style, in part because of a long list of limitations, the ability of javascript/jQuery to do a lot of the animations and simple effects that Flash used to handle, and because most modern mobile devices don't support Flash. vincewicks Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 It depends on your site requirement. For the general public it seems that a resolution of 800x600 is the way to go. For that, set the stage size to 780x438. For a resolution of 1024x768 set the stage to 1004x606. Quote
