Two problems

Problem #1: Why can't I edit my profile? I clicked the edit profile button but got an error that says I don't have permissions to edit it. Huh?? I just joined about an hour ago, do I have to wait awhile?

 

problem #2: How do I download the files that the Into video says are available. I found the link to Bluefish and downloaded/installed it, but don't see the links to the other files.

I've tweaked the permissions, so you should have editing ability now. I'm not exactly sure why they were set the way they were though, because new members should be able to edit their profile.

 

Which video are you following? Are you viewing the free videos, or videos purchased on killervideostore.com, or videos available as a member of http://www.killersites.com/video-library/?

Whether or not you have access to those source files depends on if you are a standard or premium member. (See a breakdown on the main page: http://www.killersites.com/video-library/ -- premium members get access to source files, standard members don't).

 

If you are a premium member, those files are usually available at the bottom of whatever video set you are viewing. For example, if you are looking at the Web Design 1 videos, the link to download source files will be at the bottom of the video list. ("Web Design 1 Project Files [ZIP]")

Wow ! Reply to the problem in no time.. Never seen a Admin who solve the problems so fast.. Anyways.. I don't know whether i can ask you the question here or not but am asking it (am sorry for it)... so my question is ...

Yes, but not until you have a certain number of forum posts. That's to cut down on SPAM.

 

There are too many people why post stuff like "great info' and try do drop a link. They just don't show up (long), because the mods keep a clean house.
