Andrea
I'm trying to 301 redirect an old .jsp page to a new .php version. My .htaccess has Redirect 301 /oldJSPpage.jsp http://www.domain.com/newPHPpage.php Redirect 301 /otherJSP.jsp http://www.domain.com/otherNEWJSP.jsp (I wanted to see if it was a .jsp to .php issue, but .jsp to .jsp isn't working, either) When I redirect html and php pages, everything works just fine - but the jsp pages aren't cooperating at all. And yes, I have verified that there's no typo in the url and that all pages are on the server by directly pasting the file names out of my notepad page into the browser. And I've asked Google, but haven't found anything about this yet.
newseed
Not all redirects are alike. You may need to add some code to that page in order for the .jsp files to be redirected. Here's a good source that breaks down the types of redirects. Look for the .jsp down near the end.
