FTP Error Message

I tried to open my Dreamweaver to edit the website. But all of a sudden I get the following message:

"FTP ERROR OCCUREED - cAN NOT MAKE CONNECTION TO HOST. yOUR LOGIN OR PASSWORD IS INCORREDT. pLEASE CHECK YOUR CONNECTION INFORMATION.

 

I don't recall making any changes since I logged on last month. Only difference is I renewed my site with the host company.

 

Maybe I should contact the Host and see if any changes were made on their end?

 

Any suggestions, I wonder?

Try to log into your account directly via the host's website and see if that works. If not, you should at least find a way to retrieve your password. And once you're in, you can check on the FTP password, which may or may not be the same.

 

If that doesn't work, then yes, call your host.
