I am trying to allow people to access a free download of my band's music from my site, but I want them to have to register their email or join a mailing list, so I have a database of people who have downloaded and listened to my band's songs. I currently just have the songs in a zip file on my godaddy account so if you just put in the url it will download, but I just want a prompt or page to come up making them send me their email address to access the download.
