LSW Posted September 20, 2011 Report Share Posted September 20, 2011 Possible yes, but you would not want to. Your server laptop would have to be on 24 hours a day 365 days a year. You would need back up power supplies in case it looses power, a backup server for backing it up or using to cover for it when updating the software and you would not want to work on it, leaving to only run the server. Unless you are proficient in this area and don't mind the challenge of users trying to hack you, your best bet is to pay for a hosting account instead.
