You might consider directing your comments to stefan [at] killersites.com, since he's in charge of the contents in the courses/videos. If you've lost months over this issue, you really should have posted this question and gotten help earlier. Even if you couldn't get Dreamweaver to connect to the server correctly, you should have been able to continue learning PHP just without that live preview functionality.
