Rustyhands
Hi, so i m having a crack at this in this fashion.......:S i am trying to place some images down the left hand side of my blog with a text widget and just inputting the html for the pics. sound s simple enough doesnt it.....????? NUP. when i put the images on the widget, only one pic comes up and it pushes all the content in the main section of the page underneath it. can this be stopped with some basic code??? cheers rusty
Andrea
Do you have a link? The Text Widget is the right one - maybe try adding the images as a list? And watch their size and make sure they are not wider than your sidebar. (Don't forget to consider any padding or margins that apply)

falkencreative
It's after your clearing div but just before the footer. My guess is that it may be an unnecessary character at the start of your footer.php file within your theme.
Rustyhands
hey , yeah i cant find anything in there that i thought would do it :S Have alook and see what it may be if you like <div id="footer"> <!-- If you'd like to support WordPress, having the "powered by" link somewhere on your blog is the best way; it's our only promotion or advertising. --> <p> Elecsmart Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd ACN 128 893 612 REC 19192 Ph: 0432 727 804 Melbourne, Southbank, Docklands, Carlton, Collingwood, Fitzroy, South Melbourne, Elwood, St Kilda, Mentone, Toorak, Brighton, Dandenong, Clayton, Caulfield, Narre Warren, Berwick, Cranbourne, Keysbrough, Croydon, Montrose, Ringwood, Lilydale, Pakenham, Parkville, Knox, City, Ferntree Gully, North Melbourne, East Melbourne, Port Melbourne, Richmond, Ivanhoe, Northcote, Brunswick, East Brunswick, Camberwell, Canterbury, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Lysterfield, Healesville, Narre Warren East, Narre Warren North, Narre Warren South, Chadstone, Glen Waverley, Clifton Hill, Lydhurst, South Yarra, <a id="link" href="http://www.websitetemplates.bz/">Website Templates</a> </p> </div> </div> <!-- Gorgeous design by Michael Heilemann - http://binarybonsai.com/kubrick/ --> <?php /* "Just what do you think you're doing Dave?" */ ?> <?php wp_footer(); ?> <script type="text/javascript"> var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-22988833-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? falkencreative
No, it doesn't look like it is in that file. I'm not sure which file it will be in, in that case, but it is in one of your .php theme files.
Andrea
Start with the index.php file - that's usually the one that pulls it all together - your stray < may be in there just before <?php get_footer(); ?>
