I believe that we should have ssl protection in the backend of our site whatever cms we use (custom or open source like wp). to built e-commerce sites or a site that has login area for members. I think this solves many problems since that makes difficult for a hacker to steal sensitive information What's your opinion?? falkencreative Posted April 18, 2011 Report Share Posted April 18, 2011 In general, I would say that the average small business customer running Wordpress or another CMS doesn't really need SSL, unless they are dealing with sensitive information like credit cards/payment processing.
