darkscot
I am creating a basic site for someone where overall cost is a big issue. I am considering a web hosting package that costs £5.99 a year. This seems like a bargain but I am a little concerned about the monthly traffic limit of 2GB. The site will be just a single page with 'who we are', 'what we do' and 'where we are' info on it. Probably one largish JPG/PNG image and one animated GIF but mainly text. Is 2GB monthly traffic enough?
falkencreative
Most likely, yes. It sounds like it's a one page site with minimal bandwidth required. You can always start small at first and upgrade if it becomes an issue.
darkscot
Thanks for the reply. Upgrading later is probably not very desirable as this would be an unmaintained site once it is up and running. But I will try the budget option first and see how it goes. administrator
Hi, 2 gig is much more than enough. Stefan
