the.shadw.dragn
Hey, i was just wondering what the easiest way to span an inline list across 80% of the page in boxed borders while floating to the right. thanks David Edited February 6, 2009 by the.shadw.dragn
jlhaslip
#menu { width: 80%; margin: 0 auto; } #menu ul { } #menu ul li { float: right; display: block; text-decoration: none; } untested, but might work. cssplay.co.uk have some excellent horizontal nav menus. PicnicTutorials
Little Tip: And not many know this (look at everyone's tutorials - you'll see that they don't). When you float something, or position it absolutely, that makes it display:block already. So no need to specify it. { visibility: inherit; } Testing Hello1 Hello2 Edited February 6, 2009 by Eric
jlhaslip
Thanks, Eric, first I heard of this tid-bit. (or I forgot) But it makes sense when I think about it.
