I am involved with a creation of a huge industry based web portal which is feature rich (Blog/Chat/ The whole 9 yards) with linkedin sort of capability and approximately estimated more than 2000 registered users in the first month. The site is going to be very dynamic and will have heavy usage of flash. The system architechture is as follows. We have an Weblogic 10 app server with Apache web server and MySQl database. We are looking for the best CMS for the same. Initially we thought of Drupal but we are having second thoughts on the same. The decision needs to be taken quickly. I would love to get suggestions from our esteemed users on the best CMS's to use for this kind of application. the company has no problems with money but cost effectiveness will always be good.
