dianikol85
Hi to the forum!! Which technique do i have to use in order to achieve a remember me checkbox in the login screen?? I have an idea by saving the ip of the user but many ISPs support dynamic IPs. What is the best practice to do that?? Thanks

falkencreative
I see. So i have to save a cookie to the user browser or something like that I would need to do some research to see if there is more to it than that, but I believe that's correct -- you'd use PHP to set a cookie, and check for the existence of the cookie during the login process. If the cookie exists and contains the right information, the user would be automatically logged in. I would make sure you do your research on this and look into security issues related to "remember me" functionality.
