crimsonvortex Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Hi, i am making this simple site using a bit of flash 9 (for buttons) and news updates. I also need to incorporate a 'submit a query' button in it. + give my client facility to edit/update stuff online (CMS) what would be a good CMS i should use. Is flashblock ok or is Joomla good for sites with flash cs3 and actionscript 2in them? PLease help REgards Ritu Quote
shelfimage Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 I think CMSMadeSimple.org or any less complex than Joomla because Joomla spits out a lot of tables, etc when displaying data. You will only want the raw content to display and if you are using flash then I think you will use a XML file to propogate your content... Quote
lm Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 i am making this simple site using a bit of flash 9 (for buttons) This is what you really should think twice about - making navigation from Flash buttons. Read more about it here As for news and managing content possibility, besides SMS Mad Simple, you can adapt Wordpress: it has plugins to handle your Flash content. But in any case, use Flash content only for publish your media. Quote
