Free web design books! (almost)

So... I have the habit of buying web design related books and then they sit on my bookshelf collecting dust, so I though I could pass them on to someone who might find them useful.

Here are the books:

-- How to Start a Home Based Web Design Business (I have the 2nd edition, but here's an Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/How-Start-Home-Based-Design-Business/dp/0762741783/ref=pd_cp_b_2)

It has a lot of useful general information about how to run a business and some of the issues you might have to deal with, as well as a sample contract. A good book for someone who is considering freelancing/running their own business and wants to know how to get started. May be a bit too basic for someone who has already been freelancing for some time.

-- Bulletproof Web Design (by Dan Cederholm: I have the first edition, but there isn't much difference between editions 1 and 2: http://www.amazon.com/Bulletproof-Web-Design-flexibility-protecting/dp/0321509021/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1279257367&sr=1-1)

I found this book quite useful -- Dan Cederholm has a very good reputation in the web design community. It covers how to build "bulletproof" websites; websites that work well under a variety of different conditions (no images, no javascript, a different default text size, etc.)

-- Don't Make Me Think (Steve Krug: http://www.amazon.com/Dont-Make-Me-Think-Usability/dp/0321344758/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1279257603&sr=1-1)

A good book on usability. A must read -- at least once.

-- PHP In Action ( http://www.amazon.com/PHP-Action-Objects-Design-Agility/dp/1932394753/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1279257648&sr=1-1)

A PHP book for an intermediate/advanced PHP programmer. Probably not a good book for someone who is brand new to PHP though. Covers things like web presentation and templates, Model-View-Controller architecture, input validation and form handling, working with databases, etc.

All the books are spoken for.

So what's the catch? I'm happy to give these books away to someone who might find them useful, but I do ask that you pay me $5 via PayPal to cover shipping (PM me for details.) I'm happy to ship within the US -- if you are from another country and are interested, PM me and maybe we can work something out. Also, one book per person, or at least until I know if people want them. :) First come, first served, so if you're interested shoot me a PM.

If no one's interested, I'll just give them away to my local Salvation Army or something. Cheers!
