Delete image from specific directory

Hello,

 

I created a back-end "upload image" form for a client. He will be able to upload his own pictures to a specific directory on the server. Now I'd like to write a little script (user friendly) that shows the content of that specific directory (mainly images) and gives the client the possibility to erase the pictures he doesn't want any more.

 

I just need some advice, tutorials or links. I know little about php.
