CMS ADA compliant

Is it possible to have a CMS site that is ADA compliant? I have a site that HAS to be ADA compliant.....any thoughts?

I don't see why not. I'm not sure about making the backend of the site (the administration area) ADA compliant) since that's primarily in the hands of whoever developed the CMS, but if you are using a reasonably flexible CMS you should be able to make at least the part your visitors will see compliant.

just the part the visitors will see needs be compliant....can anyone recommend what would be the best CMS to choose? I've worked with wordpress only, and starting with Joomla, so I'm a newbie in the CMS field, but it appears to be the thing to learn.

thanks again for your input!

You might want to take a look at Drupal.org.

... I believe Joomla was based on Drupal at one time.
