bqwhitten Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 I have just designed my first real site using Dreamweaver CS4. It looks right in IE but is broken up and ttotally wrong in FF. The site is: www.midsouthsportsmedia.com How can I fix this to work in FF. Any help will be appreciated Barry
Andrea Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 Only took a quick look, but I notice this: Your page is looking for the stylesheet on your C-drive, with it obviously cannot access when online. Make sure your stylesheet is uploaded and the path to it is correct.

I can't seem to id it in the original site design folders.
falkencreative Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 One more question: Where can I find the style sheet. I can't seem to id it in the original site design folders. There's really no way for us to tell without looking directly at your computer... Does the css styling show up correctly when you test the local version of your site on your computer? (as in, opening the html files stored on your computer in a browser, rather than looking at the uploaded website)

(as in, opening the html files stored on your computer in a browser, rather than looking at the uploaded website) Yes, It looks exactly like it is supposed to in IE and FF. I just can't seem to find it in any of the folders associated with the site. Appreciate your help. What should it look like "The file" is it in a folder?
Andrea Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 Check your desktop - I'd be surprised if there, you don't find a folder called "MSSM Web Files" and in there another folder called "Night Club" and it it "Original Site Files" and in there your style.css document. It's just a hunch :/

Well you got the path to your css file right in the source code: C:/Users/Sean Sullivan/Desktop/MSSM Web Files/Night Club/Original Site Files/style.css
