Killersites.com new home page up - thoughts?

Hi,

Check out the new home page:

http://www.killersites.com/

... This pretty much the work of Ben with me pestering (art directing!) him. It builds off the base established in the last update with the aim of:

1. simplifying

2. adding some pizazz.

Your comments are appreciated.

Stefan

Cool - the new dice look a lot less like Sesame Street - much better.

But now, where is all the contact info...found it.... - and where is ....never mind, just found the link to the University, too!!

And I like the new contact page much better - as 'approachable' as the old huge contact footer was, it was still a huge (club)footer....

I am not sure if this is the right place to be posting this comment, but I couldn't find where else to do it. I have just signed up to the University and started to watch my first video, the Javascript intro. I couldn't get the video screen to show fully on my screen so was not able to access the controls at the bottom of the video screen. At one point I accidently lost the video so when I started back I had to go from scratch again because I had no control to jump to the place where I had been prior. Is it something to do with my screen settings? I am using Firefox as my browser. Hope you can help. And by the way I am thrilled that you have made the University available. I have just finished your beginners CSS course and I loved it so much I was hungry for more.

Fisher, I just tried playing it, and it worked fine on my end (also FX) - I did notice that when I enlarged to view full screen, the controls disappeared, but once I moved my curser to the bottom of the screen, they reappeared.

Is this the only video you're having trouble with - maybe click another one in the same series just to check.

hey fisher4,

I was having the same problem with the videos. If making the window larger does not work, your best bet would be to Zoom Out in Firefox.

Its probably happening because the video resolution is to large for your screen. Zooming out should help that.

Hope it helps

Roberto
