Andrea Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I don't have the video, and I don't know what you mean by 'thici' - but giving it my best guess, I assume you have a general .html document that you then saved with three different names? Let's say 'index.html, page2.html, page3.html, page4.html' and now you're supposed to edit the content of page2.html - and that's where you're having trouble? What program are you using to try your edit? No, you do not have the convert your html pages to any other format in order to edit them - however, you cannot edit them in your browser, you need an editor (Notepad, Dreamweaver, etc.) Quote
Bud Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 Sounds like you are building your website by creating some pages by copying HTML code and modifying it. I believe that is the best way to do it, if you want to learn HTML and become an expert at website design. If you are just interested in getting your website created and running, there is an easier way than trying to write it in HTML. You can use a software package like "Website Builder" or "RVSiteBuilder" which is normally provided with the hosting service and available from their cPanel. It allows you to create a website by modifing a template using WYSIWYG without having to make changes to the HTML code directly. Most of the changes can be done by cutting and pasting from text documents. Quote
