Why does my href tag not work?

Hey, I am in the beginning of the IWD course (Chapter 4 - Lesson 3). I tried to follow Stef´s example, and create a simple website of my own. However, my links do not work. Why?

My html code pages are attached. This is driving me crazy. I changed their folder, and created one on my desktop, but it still does not work.

contact.html.html

hobbies.html.html

index.html.html

qualifications.html.html

Do you have all these files in the same folder?

I'm not sure why the links here in your post show up as html.html - that's one too many

Yes, they are all in the same folder, which is on my desktop. And I renamed the files, it was weird indeed.

qualifications.html

index.html

hobbies.html

contact.html

I just deleted everything and started from scratch and it worked. Thanks!
