falkencreative Posted December 5, 2009 Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 No, that's controlled entirely by the user's machine -- they need to have cleartype turned on for font smoothing to work. That's enabled by default in all Macs, and I believe also in Windows Vista and 7. Windows XP doesn't have font smoothing turned on by default. The only other way to get font smoothing is to embed the text within a image or a flash file.. And that's not really ideal for SEO reasons.
