Biske94 Posted January 17, 2018 Report Posted January 17, 2018 Hi nerdz! What books about programming can you recommend me? Some books that every programmer needs to read or any good one? Thanks! Quote

MNS45 Posted January 31, 2018 Report Posted January 31, 2018 I know there are many useful computer science books on various topics. But with regards to studying a programming language. I find myself reading from a variety of sources. e.g. I'll follow a tutorial. And end up looking up information on Forums, other Tutorials, Wikipedia, Official specification etc. Not to mention watching Youtube and occasionally finding a useful podcast. I'm pretty sure that's same process for other people. Quote
Biske94 Posted February 5, 2018 Author Report Posted February 5, 2018 Depends, for instance I like multiple sources, books, internet, video clips, whatever Quote
yeokianhwee Posted February 19, 2018 Report Posted February 19, 2018 Nowadays I seldom use book as reference when I am building project. Software documentation and google have been my best friends in implementing project that fulfil the requirements. Also I find myself more engaging when I watching video course to learn new stuff. That being said, I do read a lot of other non IT books for my general knowledge. Quote
