virtual
It is difficult to guess what is going on without seeing any code. Post a link to your page. It sounds like your div bar is not big enough to hold the buttons with their margins and padding.
goldenbuckles
I don't have a link, because it isn't on a hosting site yet. All I have are the text, html, and css pages on my computer so far. If I can give you a link, I have no idea how to do that. I did post my css and index.html text for everyone to look at. Andrea
To give us a link, you'd have to upload it somewhere. Even if we upload it for you, it won't have the images, thus we won't get the complete picture: http://www.aandbwebdesign.com/misc/golden.html The first thing that's wrong, is your doctype - you should go with strict not transitional -and you are missing the link to W3. Always make sure your code validates. The tag has long since been depreciated. (Use your CSS to text-align: center things instead.)Instead of this button mess for your navigation, use a simple list and style it with CSS - no JavaScript required for this. See http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/menuten.html'>http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/menuten.html for an example (from http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/)
goldenbuckles
Ok I have no idea what you just said. :-| I made these buttons from scratch and like the way they look. Now all I need is for a way to make them line up next to each other. Is there a way to do that, other then rewriting that whole section and the css? PicnicTutorials
#tabbar input { float:left; } should do it.
goldenbuckles
Thank you that worked like a charm. When moving the buttons, to center on page or possibly get larger do I need to do that on css or do I fix the buttons themselves? Also, I would like a little break in between each tab button, how would I go about that?
PicnicTutorials
It's up to you. I would put it all in a seperate css file. But you have a lot inline, so you may feel better keeping it that way. Just use margin to space it, and add display inline to the floated input to kill ie bug. goldenbuckles
Another question, that product bar isn't centered in the div, what do you recommend? I have to say, you are a huge amount of help! Edited November 24, 2009 by goldenbuckles
