My mom has asked me to redo her current website (not the one i'm linking) so I figure now would be a good time to dive back into the game. I've got a basic understanding of what is going on in html code, css, a little javascript, etc. But this site in particular has me a little confused. I would like my nav/links to open up how they do on this site: w ww.vividdesigngroup.com/index.html (again, I have nothing to do with that site, just happens to be styled how I like) But I have looked through the code over and over, and can't seem to figure out what is pointing the links to open up in the body. Is it hidden somewhere in there? is it in an external javascript sheet? is that even possible? Is it opening into a frame? Haha. I'm sure the answer is right in front of me, and this will be a total "d'oh!" moment, but hey, we all gotta start somewhere! I have pretty much figured out everything I need to do, except this. jlhaslip Posted November 11, 2009 Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 looks like a simple on-hover effect to change the text colour. try a:hover to style them. unless I misunderstand the question??? exactly what effect is it that you prefer? can you please be more descriptive of the effect? thanks.
