Mailto: links

Hi:

 

Whenever I use a and I click on the link, my computer always chooses "Microsoft Word" as the default e-mail program, rather than the preferred "Outlook Express".

 

Is this a setting on my personal computer or do I have the format for the anchor-link wrong?

It should be mailto:"email@address.com" -- and it's your computer settings that determine what program to open what with.

As Thelma said, this depends on your computer settings.

 

If you want to change this (obviously, this will just effect your machine, not what program opens when other people click a mailto: link) take a look at:
