falkencreative Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 want to be able to find a font style and then pick and choose the corresponding name .. I don't think this is something you are going to be able to find a tutorial on. Fonts aren't automatically categorized by style for you. However, there are font management programs that will allow you to organize your fonts in different categories you create. I use FontExplorer X, but there are a variety of different programs out there... just do a seach for "font management program." Wikipedia has a section explaining the various font types: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typeface#Types_of_typefaces need to find out how to get a copy of dreamweaver, photoshop, microsoft excel.. don't wish to pay for it either. free downloads of these packages? older versions are acceptable. Well, these sort of programs really aren't offered for free -- even older versions. You could always use free alternatives.... Open Office for the office software, GIMP or Paint.NET (or similar) for Photoshop, etc. You may also try looking on ebay for older versions of software that may be less expensive. If you want quality programs to create quality work, you usually have to pay money for them. Do keep in mind if you are school/college aged, you can get these programs at significant discounts though academic pricing.
