Wickham Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 Yes, I noticed that a few weeks ago, it looks fresher and cleaner. However, they didn't convert it back to HTML 4.01. It does seem that HTML 5 is not seriously considered by most website designers yet. It will seem like a backward step for some to start using closing tags with > instead of /> which they have got used to with XHTML 1.0. I think XHTML 1.0 is a dead end; people will soon have to choose between X/HTML 5 with content="text/html" for HTML 5 or content="application/xhtml+xml" for XHTML 5 (both having a tolerance for errors) or XHTML 2 which will be need absolutely correct code or it will crash.
