leadalpha4
I have a simple one page, text filled webpage. How can I insert a simple box at the bottom to allow anyone who views the page to add a comment to it? I have heard of Wordpress and other programs for creating a Blog, but they require logins and passwords et. al. I do not want to require the visitor to enter an id or password, or anything other than the message. Thanks for reading!
Susie
Actually, you can set Wordpress up so that people can comment without registering.
leadalpha4
Can a message function be created manually on websites without using Blog software, ie. Wordpress?
jlhaslip
Yes, but it would require a server-side script. Do you have php support on your account?
leadalpha4
Yes. I do.
LSW
Then use an SE to find "free message box scripts" and see what it brings up. But I would recommend a blog software or Content Management System. One thing I can guerentee is that you will get spammed to death without login/ID. Wordpress at least has one hell of a good spam detector.
