Editing Web Templates

Hey Guys,

I'm newbie. Could anyone please tell me how to Edit Web Templates (Bought from TemplateMonster.com or DreamTemplates.com)?

I can change everything by NVU. But I don't know how to edit the "New Links". Likw while uploading the templates, I don't know how to direct that link to that exact page. Plus some of the new links appear in the same Tab. Not as a pop-up but quite similar to the pop-up. I don't know how to edit that either.

Can anyone please help me with that?

Thanks a lot in Advance

Ok. So Heres the thing -

There're 2 Folders in the Template Folder:

Folder 1 (Screen shot): There's a HTML file called "Main": In this file I can see the whole website. There're some pictures & another HTML file called "TFile Main" with codes I don't understand. I think there's nothing to edit in this folder. It's the sum of the whole templates.

Folder 2 (Site): Images, Index, Index 1, Index 2, Index 3, Index 4, Index 5, Index 6. (All HTML Files)

I can modify all of the files using Drag & Drop Software/NVU/Dreamweaver. Except Index 4. There's a line called "Read More". In the actual site (The one from Folder 1: Main) when you click the link a small page pops up in the same window with description. "But it's not a pop up - it looks like a pop up". But in the Index 4 (The one from the Folder 2) when you click the "Read More" link nothing pops up. Now, I don't know where or how to edit this "Read More" part. Cause I couldn't find the Code.

I've copied codes from the "Index 4" which I think is the "Read More" code. Here it is -

Now, can anyone tell me how to edit this "Read More" part?

Thanks a lot in Advance !

Change the # to wherever you want the link to go to. For example:

of course it would be a good idea to make the 'read more' more descriptive - depending on the context. For my example, I'd change it to Killersites or ww w.killersites.com

Thanks for the Reply. But the thing is -

I know how to Change the link or to redirect to a new link (Not exactly this way though). Anyway what I don't know is how to edit/change the description in the pop-up. As it's hard to understand what I'm talking about, I've uploaded 2 screen shots of the template.

Here's the page/template (Normally)

And here's the page/template (With the pop-up - Red Marked: It appears when you click the "Read More" button)

No I wanna change the description written on the pop-up (Red Marked Part). But I couldn't find the code anywhere in the "Index-4". FYI, when I just open the "Index-4" (Not the Whole template as the screen shot) clicking the "Read More" button doesn't change anything.

I know it's hard to understand, but please help me if you do :(
