  1. Hello, when I try to login into my account on the Checkout page it doesn't work. It logs me in on the website but on Checkout it doesn't update the information so I can't get to pass Step#1 to pay for what I have in the cart. When I press the "Complete Step#1" button it shows all the red text that you can see in the image I uploaded.
  2. Hi, I tried to access projects.studioweb.com, but I got this response instead. Is it down now? Thanks, Mack
  3. Hi StudioWeb community. I've just completed four of the five StudioWeb foundations courses. They are; PHP 7 Foundations HTML5 Foundations PHP and MySQL Javascript Foundations. I'm skipping CSS3 for now. Among projects available in the StudioWeb Projects, which one do you recommend as the next step for someone who has just "graduated" from StudioWeb foundations courses? Thanks, Mack
  4. This post is about "Logged out user session due to inactivity." When I'm taking a lesson with StudioWeb, I often experiment with code in the code editor then get back on StudioWeb. The problem is that the session almost always times out. So I need to log back in then click and click to get back to where I left out. I find it's quite destructive for a flow of learning. How can I change the session time out? Thanks, Mack

  7. I got this question put to me recently: I haven't looked too closely at competitive coding. In terms of reflecting real-world coding, I believe competitive coding is likely too far away from real coding. This is largely because a biggest part about being a good developer, has little to do with the syntax you write. It's HOW you write code and how you organize it that counts. ... But I must admit, I am biased! Writing code snippets does little to make you a coder. Good developers have refined problem solving skills, are able to write efficient code, write maintainable code that is well structured. You have to write code to learn code, but you have to understand concepts, you have to build projects, you have to know when it makes sense to write a recursive function or not. When I interview developers, I never give test on syntax (the actual code,) I test on concepts and an understanding of how to structure code .... things like best practices. Hope that makes sense. Stefan
