I am working my way through the Dreamweaver and Wordpress videos. I have installed wamp, created a database and am up to setting up the database connection. I can't get past the step where I need to enter database name, username, password, database host, table prefix.Do I need to set up a testing server in dreamweaver before I can install wordpress?or...Do I need to sign up with a hosting service before I can complete this step?

Hi I am working on a pc but following the tutorial on installing wordpress (Dreamweaver and Wordpress series) which is demonstrated on a mac. I am using wamp and cannot find the htdocs folder where I need to create my site folder to put the wordpress files in. Can anyone help me with this please?
