  1. Why hello there good misters and madams of Killersites http://animefize.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1 View this link on Firefox/Opera and you'll find my forum design to be completely working. Chrome and IE on other hand... why don't the borders stretch over tere? By borders, I am referring to the ones above the Username and contain post date and all that. Any help would be appreciated to be honest.
  2. I'm afraid I can't help with that to be honest, I never expected it to be this type of field I've always been into broad niches (gaming, anime, etc), so I didn't have trouble finding images for them. Maybe it's not as easy as I expected. Again, I am sincerely sorry for not being able to help
  3. Wow, that's a very detailed and coherent post Kyle. Thank you very much for this great input
  4. Hmmm, I'm really scared if this counts as a non-productive post, and if it is, then by all means, do remove it. But I'm going to confirm what Andrea said. It's probably a path issue, and a link would help greatly.
  5. Why yes, quite the few. There are a vast array of free to use images around the web, you just need to look hard enough (which isn't really hard) So tell me Pb1uk, what do you have in mind? Is it a background site? Or maybe a site dedicated to renders? Perhaps I can help
  6. Things I learned from this topic: 1- I learned the names of the files paths: 1) Absolute. 2) Relative. 2- I learned that relative path is better than absolute ones. 3- The users at Killersites never fail me. As always. Thank you very much, Wickham.
  7. Hey all, just me passing by with another topic In CSS, is it preferred to write the full image path all the way from the "http" to the image format (such as png, gif, etc), or should we shortcut it to the directory that contain the images like this: "/images/filename.format" So what's preferred and what isn't? Thanks in advance to everyone who took the time to read this topic Also, thank you Killersites for always helping me out, I must be such a burden
  8. Wow Ben! I'm stunned by your new design. I sincerely hope to reach the same level of expertise that you have one day I'd be a beast
  9. The things you learn... haha Thank you very much, Mr/Ms Virtual
  10. Haha, I knew it was better if I just posted the link instead of hyperlinking the word "site" Here: http://animefize.com/ Thanks
  11. Hello fellow Killersites users When you visit my site, and look at it's navigation options, you can notice a text cursor in between each of them, what is the common approach to remove it? Thanks to everyone in advance for taking the time to read this topic. I sincerely appreciate it

    AdSense CSS

You simply can't, even if you were able to, Adsense states that it is very frowned upon, and may possibly shut down his account because of it. I suggest to communicate with your client and instruct him to edit the ads from his account (it's extremely easy and instantaneous!)
  13. Thanks Andrea! Pure brilliance! And yes I'm not really a native English speaker so I find my lack of selecting better words is disappointing sometimes Again, thank you very much for the help.
  14. So I have a small problem here: http://animefize.com/ <---- as you can see, the "home" have a white hover over it when I'm on it's page, and so is the "contact" page, but not the "anime list" one. How do I go about to hover it like the other two?
  15. I couldn't have described it any better than this. Personally, I think you should do what ever you like AND deem it fitting for the site's purpose.
  16. Yeah I noticed, even though they use the same elements, so it's pretty buggy alright but oh well, it's pretty insignificant when I'm trying to focus on a content-based website. Maybe when I work on validating my XHTML/CSS later on it will be fixed (I have a lot of errors) or something
  17. I appreciate replying to my posts, thank you very much. Can you tell me if the navigation bars are looking correctly to you through Firefox? because I think I fixed it, or at least, this is what my browser show me
  18. The site is excellent, easy navagation, easy to understand pages, what fascinated me the most was the very easy on the eye layout, it actually kinda made me relax from a few hours of tension. In my opinion, I think you have achieved perfection with the layout but if your site ranks low then I don't think many can see the beauty of the layout
  19. Not seeing anything as in page don't show up? or the mistake is not showing? because that page (anime list) looks perfectly fine, I was talking about The home page PS: the site looks perfectly fine only on Firefox so it's a bit strange.
  20. Ok here's the story: I had the "home" navigation bar overlapping on another navigation bar so I edited the home bar to fix it, you can see at this page that it looks perfectly fine, however when i'm on the homepage the home bar overlaps with the logo is there a fix to make it look right on BOTH pages, or am I screwed?
  21. Although Notepad would be a little rough to deal with. Try something much better and more smooth such as, well, Notepad++
  22. I concur, although the compatibility tag is still very useful
  23. I would just like to add that you don't need to follow what others do. It's always better to use the most comfortable method, not the most productive.
  24. Hahahaha I literally spent over an hour trying to work this out before posting here. I must say that I felt completely defeated when I saw the red slash standing there in front of me, but I still bursted with big laughter. Thank you guys for helping me out!
  25. Site URL is animefize.com You can see what I mean by visiting the "about" page. also I noticed that the favicon does not appear as well?
