Hello, can someone help im trying to get my background image to display the whole length of the page it displays in dreamweaver perfectly but when i go to preview it in the browser it is maybe a 150 to 200 px short and i have made the image bigger and have the image set to no repeat can someone help? Im not sure how to get divs to line up next to each other im only able to get them below one another or above mostly. I cant set them up next to one another. Thats my problem right now. And im getting a black line with the footer that reaches across the entire screen. Thanks, Cody Perry

Can someone explain to me how to fix my divs so they display correctly in safari. I checked it with Chrome, opera, and firefox and it worked in all of those correctly besides safari not sure why the margins in it will not register. Thanks, Cody Perry

Hey do you guys think i should read my html and css book first and hold off on reading my php book. This summer and im not sure if its a good idea to read my php book before my html and css book. I know a lot about html and css mostly but i cant code it by hand. Im taking a xhtml and css class this fall for my web publishing degree. So not sure which order i should go any comments would be appreciated. Does anybody have a Web design / graphic design quote template and a web design/ graphic design quote and proposal template i can see as an example. How do you do it though and get it into dreamweaver. Ive heard people use the slice tool or something but ive never used that, im very experienced in photoshop not so much in fireworks but have never used that tool in either. Thanks, Cody Perry

A little bit the way the book explains the example is like a matchbox with a string attached to it I got real confused at first. Then i went back and read the information step by step. So i understand it a little bit better now. Im learning Including and Requiring files section on my chapter right now so hopefully i don't have any more trouble with this chapter i fell real stupid sometimes asking questions like these to you guys.
