Hi, A simple problem i am stuck on. I have at the head of the home page (www in design stage) a sentance that i have bordered but how do i get the border edges (Left & right) to display at say 30px from the words, They run to the page border which looks naff. I can get them right if i determin a page border size but that will only look ok if everyone views at the same screen size as me !!!! Which is'nt gonna happen. I want it to look right whatever size you view it in.. Thanks Kev

Hi, In preperation for a web site to go live one day i was looking into Web Hosts. Has anyone got any suggestions for a good host price wise as the website will be fairly simple probably max of 4 pages and probably max of 1 pic per page (No E-Commerce).. I know i'll have to pay something to avoid ads and the like :/ Thanks Kev

Thanks for the reply, But i'm not on the same page :/ I can get an Image onto the web page using one that's hosted on PhotoBucket no problem (Although i found the code rather long !!!) It's getting one on that resides on my PC that's giving me grief I have ordered a couple of Books so i think i'll wait and see if they can steer me outa the woods Thanks all..........

Ummm Got half right but alas no Image only a Pale blue box 300 x 400 and the text i included. My Image is located on my PC and i am opening the page in FF is this my problem ? NOTE: I am using Notepad as my editor and saving as File name...Description of page.html Save as type...Text Document [*.txt] Encoding...UTF-8 Thanks for any help

Hi, In short like alot of people i am trying to learn html/css to build a half sharp website. I am working through some online tutorials whilst waiting for some books i have ordered on the subject. So my rather Begginer question is:- Where do you store images that you wish to add to your html coding ? I read people mentioning an Image Folder but is that on my PC and if so how do i point the code to the image ? Thanks for any help
