I need to start offering in-depth SEO to my clients and can you advise the best possible way to do this. I basically only offer whereby I enter the META tags and simple search engine submission but that is it. More recently my clients have been asking how they can market their website. Could you please advise the possible approach I could take to offer this to my clients. My design rates are far too low and I am afraid of sending them to a company that specializes in SEO MARKETING because these companies have expensive rates. I appreciate any and all correspondence. I absolutely hate it when someone sits besides me and dictates what I should do and how I should do it. When it comes to my Graphic Design, I have been doing this for more than 10 years and its like they telling me what to do. As for my Website Design services, I find that my clients also want to sit beside me. Something that will take me 10 minutes to update on their website usually takes an hour when they are with me. I do not let my clients pay a monthly fee as I feel I am taking their money and not offering anything to them. I do offer a very low maintenance fee which is payable ONLY when they require maintenance to their site.

I need to create a website for a local school. Seeing that I am not yet Joomla-trained, I am opting to design them an HTML style website using Dreamweaver. My client wants to know if they have latest news. Can they update it themselves? Note that I am not using CMS (Content Management System). Can I design the "Latest News" section with an RSS Feed that they are able to update themselves without having dreamweaver. Is this possible? Can you advise what is the easiest way for me to do this part as I am only charging them maintenance fees as they require them. The other option would be for them to email me the latest news article in email format and I just updated for them easier. Assistance really appreciated

You may also try monsterpay.com / setcom.com / paypal.com as I have come to rely on some of these personally. Paypal has limited capabilities in South Africa but worldwide you shouldn't have a problem with it.

Thanks for all for the prompt replies. I went through my code and it appeared that the menu appeared twice in my browser. The site loads fast in Firefox but my client insists that SHE WANTS it to work in Internet Explorer. My next dilemma is that I have two fadeslideshows adjacent to each other on main page but for some reason the slideshow on the righthand site (with celeb pics) is taking forever to load in IE. In mozilla it works fast. Any suggestions. Regards

Thanks all for speedy replies. I have visited Slideshow Pro and about to buy it but need to know if I can use it with my website template I am designing for the client. I am also testing the other slideshow options above. The only thing is that most of the photos for my client is different dimensions and extensions. Usually if I had to do it in dreamweaver, I would manually have to add each photo and link it to the big version of the image. I know how to use lightbox effect and would just do this but it would take me forever to do the whole site. The site I need to design will contain lots of pics of jewellery, rings, bangles, necklaces, Mens Accessories, Wallets etc. There won't be much text and the pictures will do the talking on the site.

Hi There I have been commissioned to design a website similar to David Yurman http://www.davidyurman.com/ - The site is for a friend of mine. I am scared and excited at the same time at the fact that I don't know much flash. David Yurman site is based heavily on flash and flash galleries. Is there anyway that I can implement a CSS gallery or similar design to my friend's website. He demands he wants the site to look smart. Its supposed to be a surprize for his very demanding girlfriend. Are there any gallery software I can use to make the website appealing. I am thinking of Slideshow Pro but I am not that good in flash or with Actionscripting. The site is heavily relying on lots of pictures which the client has given me already. Regards

Wow you are a genius, if you only you could help me put this into perspective as I don't know where it must go. All I know is that the Manufacturers Logos are controlled by a Zen Cart Controller Box entitled Manufacturers Logos (its an add-on) for Zen Cart and it has its own php configuration file. But I could try you method above, if only someone can show me where to start

I recently installed Zen Cart for a friend on his website. This was a huge project that took me almost 4 weeks to complete. I am very new to Php and creating a Database. I managed to successfully load 416 products to the catalogue. I have a query regarding the Manufacturers logos appearing on the right side of the shop ( http://www.globalcw.net/shop ) How can I have the URLS removed from the manufacturers logos and have the logos appear say 3 or 4 next to each other instead of below each other. But if you use Zen Cart, I am sure you can have your site look like that.

I have decided and agreed to put my Joomla training on hold for at least a few weeks until i get this project out. I have downloaded and installed Zen Cart for my client's website. Its a bit frustrating if you don't know PHP! I am liking the Admin Console of Zen Cart and most things are easy to change according to the Template of my choice. However, one thing that is very irritating for me is the MANUFACTURERS LOGO. They are currently being shown in a LIST FORM, HOW can I get them listed with logo images instead, see sample here on this website: www.sonicinformed.co.za For newbies like me, I'd highly recommend ZEN CART. Apparently I have cleaned up some CSS code in the HEAD Section of my website and it seemed to work and fix the IE issue.

I recently developed a site for a friend: www.awesomesouthafrica.com Unfortunately the content of the site is not visible in Internet Explorer but only in Firefox. For some reason it does not show in Opera too. The only visible element in IE is the background image I used. Hope you can assist and help me diagnose the error(s). Thanks
