I have seen this online many times. I believe they are a con but I have to ask just in case. I have seen SEO sites claiming to be able to setup your SEO so well that it will show on the top of Google within the hour. They claim this is not Adwords. Just SEO. No monthly charges. Is this possible? Thanks

I have started to produce data driven websites as well as plain old websites. Where I have a problem is I get overwhelmed in the planning of them. How do you plan your websites. Do you use flowcharts? I start and get completely confused after a while. Does anyone have a checklist or a sheet that they give to there clients to help them to get to what they want from the site. If you could post something that would be great. Any help would be much appreciated. Also I am a visual person. I need a visual approach to planning them. Thanks a bunch.

I moved it and it seems to be OK. Now any idea how I can keep all my column lengths the same length? If you look at any of the pages you will see there all over the place. Also the corners are round on some and square on other. what a mess.

Hi Wickham Thanks for your fast reply. I think you have opened my eyes to a whole new world here. I have moved the map & copy to where it is supposed to be but the other copy with the phone number is at the top. Should I create another layer for that and do the same thing. If so how do I select that text and create a new layer from it. Thanks

This is starting to frustrate me. Please look at this site in Firefox. http://www.postmarkinternational.com I have a floating line of text & graphics on the page. It looks OK in IE. Also if you look at the other web pages of the site you will see that line length are uneven. I have tried to make them all the same but they are all over the place. Is there a way of getting them all even. I should have probably originally created columns but this is the way I got them from Template monster. I have tried numerous set line length which I have not uploaded but I always get the same thing.

Most of the changes would have to do with linking up the fields to the database. Some of them are not linked anymore. Also I would need to change webpage links as well. So nothing major but I am not sure how to do this offline. Do I copy the database & all the php files to a folder on my computer. Do I run it from the web server? All the tutorials I have tried deal with the web programming nothing with a database.

No one can help me with this?

I have a PHP website that is hooked up to a database. I had this done a few years ago. I Have not used it in a few years but I want to use it again. I paid a small fortune to get this up and running and I cannot afford to spend any money on it anymore. My question is this, I have a bit of web site developement skills but no php skills. I have to change links, Link up fields with the database. all I believe minor items. What is the best way of going about this. Is there a Killersite for PHP and database? Hi everyone, I want to allow my clients to be able to login to my ftp site automatically. I want them to be able to create a username & password. They would have there own section on my ftp site and they could upload and download there data files. I have seen this on numerous occassions and some are pretty slick. From what I understand there are many free scripts that will do this. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I can find them. It is very important that no 2 clients can see the other clients data files. Thanks in advance.

It's just very hard to make changes with widths. Length of tables. Is there a fast way of converting my page to a more current layout or do I have to do it from scratch. I thought when I purchased this from Templatemonter.com That they would be using the most resent web coding. I guess not. Any suggestions to get this done faster than redoing it?

But they wouldn't tell me what they were only that I should redo the page. I am using templates from template monster. I am using Dreamweaver 8. My problem is the length of some of the frames. They seem to be set to a certain length and can not be reduced. 1. Can I in Dreamweaver set it up so it is easy to see and select each frame layer? 2. Can I change the length so that the frame actually changes length? Sometimes I can do it sometimes I cannot. This is making changes to a web page take forever. Any suggestions. Is there a way I can change frames to something else automatically without changing the layout? Lots of questions.
