I just deleted the icon shortcut. The program is still there. (It's a long story) I don't want to reinstall the program just to get the icon back. Thanks for replying.

I deleted the icon for Adobe Bridge CS3. I need to find the icon and put it back into the icon folder so it will show up in my start folder. I can't seem to find it on the original CS3 disks. It must be there. Where is it? Thanks

Way to go. I love sites that are clear and have lots of color so I was attracted by the large graphics you used. I only gave the site a quick once-over and I didn't find any bugs. I clicked on a couple of the tuts and they linked just fine. I would say to beef up your blog a little. Other than that, great job. VLS

The site is really cute. (Probably not the word you are looking for.) I like the retro 50's look of it. For me there might be a bit too much dark blue. One thing to think about regarding the blue: Your links on your graphics page are a little hard to see. If you really love the color scheme try using a very light shade for the links against the dark background. VLS

Okay. I figured most of it out by myself but I have one more question. Here is one button from my xml file: My question is, what do I change so that the buttons will NOT open a new window? I thought the "self" would do it.

The problem is, I can't see anything but a black shape. The items are in the library and the movie plays. But the stage just shows the background. In the old versions of Flash I knew what to click on to edit the instances. But I can't even get the instances to show on the stage. I mean, I can if I put a new instance or symbol up, but the ones already there are invisible. I don't get it.

Hello: I recently downloaded a set of Flash buttons that I am changing to suit my needs. I made all the changes I needed except for one. The buttons are surrounded by a huge black rectangle. I don't know how to make the background shrink to fit the buttons. I can resize the background using the properties menu, but the buttons are not centered so they get cut in half using that method. How do I resize the background to fit the buttons? Thanks

The defaced page actually read "Hacked by..." then it had a name. I do think it was just for fun. Maybe a baby hacker/cracker whatever, getting his or her feet wet. Falkencreative, am I that obvious? How did you know my user name was "Admin? I will follow your suggestions. You have been very helpful. I have contacted someone to help me make the changes, close my back door so to speak, update to the new version etc. Frankly, I do have better things to do than decipher 12 pages of tech talk WordPress likes to put out in their codex. An update. I was asked if the site was something like WordPress. As it turns out, that was the problem. The hacker must have gone through my WordPress blog and got to my main site. WordPress itself was not touched. (I don't think) The basic problem is fixed. The site is back up. Now, though I think I should remove the WordPress section from the site and use WordPress as a stand alone with a link pointing to it from my main site. That means transferring all or the information from the old blogs into the new ones. Should I do that, or should I just find the hole and plug it? I looked at some of the files but I can't tell what WordPress has done from what the hacker has done. Any suggestions? VLS

For anyone interested, I went to ZenCart and AntiOnline Spotlight for some more information. They had a list of steps to do. I am still waiting for my web host to get back to me. I blame them for the intrusion. They were supposed to be secure. :mad: VLS

It is a static HTML site. Through FTP I can see that the files are still there but when I try to upload a new index page I get a message saying permission is denied.
