To answer your question about which ecommerce framework I use is Product Cart by Early Impact. It's clasic ASP and just about almost all of our sites are customized to meet the client's specs.

Just installed an 240GB SSD in my Mac. Getting significantly snappier performance on startup/whenever an application launches. My Xbench score doubled after putting in the SSD.

The other drawback is that the SSD comes at a hefty price compared to HDD.

I was looking into SSD and found that they have their quirks but nothing major. I read this wiki showing the comparison between SSD and HDD.
