I downloaded this template for a jazz band website I was hired to do. I have changed the colors and images in the psd. file included with the template, but cannot get the slices to match up with the DW file. If anyone can help out it would be great. The site is due to be up in two weeks from now. -Ian http://www.webshapes.org/template/details/id/2007041711768603480 |

There is a way to do but it's so long winded to explain. One other way that may help is to actually open each template's (not the psd) images and create a new layer image on top of the existing one. For each image you open, the canvas will be set to the size of the image and so when you create a new layer you design it to stay within the size of the canvas. ---------------------------------------- Success is based on how much you spend. Yeah that's the way I've done it in the past. It's just that this template has some shading and layered objects, so to change the color is one thing but the rest is kind of difficult without making it look amature. I wanted to just do within the original psd, but what can you do; it's a free template. Thanks for the help. -Ian |

I wanted to just do within the original psd, but what can you do; it's a free template. It looks like some of the coloring he did from another session and imported it to this psd file or flatten the layer. What you need to do is make which ever color you want and give it a gradient. If you can't figure that out then maybe it's time to learn photoshop or whatever image editor you have that allows you to edit psd files. If you like, you can send me what you have done so far and I will see what colors you are trying to change. ---------------------------------------- Success is based on how much you spend. Thanks for the offer man! But I just went into zoom mode into PS and changed every little color and detail one-by-one and it's almost finished now. Just wanted to see if there was a more efficient way to go about it then the ways talked about this far, maybe next time. Thanks -Ian |
