Ohhh, they are on my range finder... Just really busy yesterday and today so have not had a chance to look close enough to decide on spam or not. Paper printed some photos suggesting that our wolf killed a dog and the some are screaming for it to be killed and tohers want to protect it and tar and feather the fellow who used the Pug for bailt for the photos. I may have to deffer this to Stef and Billy. I'm a bit taken aback by this, too- no spam per se in the post itself, but the name, sig, and profile are smack full of self-promoting links. I'll have to give you a check for that to Thelma. There was somebody I saw a while ago that had a avatar that with BOLD LETTERS "Something, Something Web Design", all three links were filled out taking them to their sites, and you would have to be blind as a bat to miss their signature (which also made reference to their site). But there's a point where it's to much. |

Ok, I've been worried about the fact that I don't contribute any help to the threads as much as I ask questions or just generally reply. (And I realize the questions I ask are pretty elementary.)  Hello. I'm new here. I'll probably ask stupid questions. New to PHP. Done some VB/Access previously. I have put my site in the signature part of my postings because it is what I am trying to get right in the long term (with some help from some people here). It is not intended as advertising as the code is all wrong at the moment - but if you would prefer that I removed it then please just say so and I will. |

Having a link in the signature does not make it spam. It is the attitude of the person, how they do it etc., most of us link to their sites. I do so so people can find other things I wrote and decided if they think I know what I am talking about. Same for you, if you want to claim to be a SEO guru here... it will either prove or disprove you to be one. I've read your posts - you and the other advanced members certainly DO know what you are talking about and I am gob-smacked at how much that I've learned from reading the posts in this forum. No one can specialise in everything - it all changes too fast! Safety in numbers, so to speak. It's good to have a group of people to interact with to learn from each other. |

The only stupid questions are the ones that don't get asked for fear of looking stupid And I havent kicked anyone lately... wait, there was that spammer yesterday, and I didn't kick them hard... more than 7 or 8 times. The only stupid questions are the ones that don't get asked for fear of looking stupid And I havent kicked anyone lately... wait, there was that spammer yesterday, and I didn't kick them hard... more than 7 or 8 times. Besides, a shovel to the face is far more effective with those types. Don't mind billyboy. He's all talk and no action! The one you have to worry about is LSW.
