Hey, I'm pretty new to this site so I don't know if this should be going here or not but I'm in need of some desperate help. I have recently tried adding an Auction Script to my website, http://www.snmewrestling.com, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to do anything at all. I'm not very good at understanding scripts but, I got a free script from http://www.everysoft.com/auction/ and from what I heard from people and their Official Forums, that it is very easy to set-up and it works great! I have been trying to set this thing up for over 3 days now and I haven't gotten anywhere. I have no idea, how to follow the scripts I was given, where to put them, exactly what to edit. I would be sooooooo greatful if someone could help me with this. I would also be willing to offer some $$$ if someone can help me get everything set up and working right. I just really want to get this to work. Please if anyone can help me, Please respond here or contact me at my E-Mail, terrimark202@hotmail.com. Thanks Again, and again I need help in fixing and putting up an auction site. I have all the CGI Scripts that were given to me, I don't know how to follow them or where to put them. Perl is also needed for this, I have no idea what it is or what it does or how to install it. Please help guys. |

I for one do not have time, but should I get a chance I will try to see what they have for documentation and see what it is about, but I can not say when as I am busy with customer sites. My guess would be that it would be installed on the server is a folder. It shoud have direcions for you. Perl is a language like PHP, it is the language the thing is built with. You host must support Perl for it to work, so you need to check on that. I am not aware of any one here (regularly) that works with Perl and I have not used in since 2002. I will have a look as time allows. ---------------------------------------- Gu.aal kwsh yak'i itakw ijeet wugoodk LSW-WebDesign.com |
