I don't have dreamweaver and don't want to go that route, I would rather go the trile and error route. They say that php is beta than MySQL.

ok i hope you have basic html knowledge.


ok WAMP is a software through which you can run all the these

W -> windows (operating system)

A -> Apache (Web Server)

M -> My SQL (Database Server)

P -> PHP (Server Technology)

I have watched the PHP video's on killersites instead of My SQL wil that help. Stephan said If you understand PHP you will be able to understand all the other server side scripts. So my prefrence is PHP do I understand it correctly.

In those videos to create database they used phpmyadmin which is included in WAMP

So dot't confuse PHPMyAdmin is user friendly for entry level php designers

look PHP is server scripting language

MY SQL is used to store database

they both are combined for creating a dynamic website

We will use this MY SQL to store the username, passwods,images, addresses etc of the users or visitors of your website

if you want to know more clearly

killersites.com will have php pages where your information like username, password,email every thing you given while registring will be stored in database

created ny using eaither MY SQL or MS Access etc

I want to test my php, you have asked me earlier what do I want to achieve by that php. Where can I view the outcome of the php code (output)? talked about in www3schools

Yes exactly

In you page there are two textfields
1 -> Name
and
2 -> Age


in user click submit where should they save !

Hece to save them we have to create a database in MY SQL
