I am using CS2. I cannot get the text to wrap around in my bounding box. Am I missing something simple here? I create a bounding box with my fonts selected and I can only type on the first line and the text just disappears, no wrap around. Yes the bounding box is visible, any help?? |

Scrappy Lil has a tutorial that might help. http://scrappylil.blogspot.com/2008/01/photoshop-cs2-text-on-path-tutorial.html ---------------------------------------- "Keep one leg on each side and your mind in the middle" Cowboy Mack |

Scrappy Lil has a tutorial that might help. http://scrappylil.blogspot.com/2008/01/photoshop-cs2-text-on-path-tutorial.html That's text on a path, which isn't the same as using a bounding box to wrap text. Steverkov, I'll try to do a quick video to help you out with this today -- I should post it later today. ---------------------------------------- Benjamin Falk | student : designer : developer Twitter: falkencreative |

Here is that video I was talking about... Nothing too exciting, just a couple seconds showing what I do in Photoshop (CS3, but it should be the same in CS2). http://vimeo.com/2487706 Basically, just make sure you are setting up the text box boundaries first, before you enter any text, by clicking and dragging with the Text tool, and then add your text. If you are still having issues, I'd suggest restarting your computer, just in case... It's hard to say what is the issue without seeing the steps you are following. ---------------------------------------- Benjamin Falk | student : designer : developer Twitter: falkencreative |

Dang, somethings not right. It will not automatically return and start typing on the next line. The next only stays on one line and disappears as soon as it leaves the bounding box. Any other settings to look at? Thanks. |

One other thing to check, since I just discovered this today... There is a "no break" option which you may have set accidentally, which then won't allow text to wrap. Here is an image showing where the option is. To access the list of options in Photoshop, click the icon in the upper right corner of the Character palette. http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/photoshop/a...s2at_typography_3_int.jpg Original article: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/photoshop/a...scs2at_typography_05.html ---------------------------------------- Benjamin Falk | student : designer : developer Twitter: falkencreative |

I am getting closer, and thank you for your help. Text will wrap in the bounding on a new blank document, but it will not wrap in the bounding box on one of my photos I load. Any ideas here? |

Well, could you just work with a new document, and simply copy/paste your photo into the new document? ---------------------------------------- Benjamin Falk | student : designer : developer Twitter: falkencreative |

If I rasterize the photo, than the text works and bounds to the next line. At least it works now, not sure if I lose image quality by rasterizing the photo, oh well. Thanks so much for your help! |
