Okay so I am trying to figure out a shopping cart for a business' site that i have designed. I think it should be even easier than a normal shopping cart, but i'm new so I'm gonna ask anyways. What my client wants is this: a shopping cart where the customer can shop and add things to the cart and continue browsing etc, but then when its time to check out, all they do is fill out a form with all of their information (excluding the creditcard info of course) and presses "confirm order" or whatever and an e-mail is sent to a certain e-mail account where those orders are processed etc. Basically this is a business that does a lot of trade-outs and such, so they already know the majority of their customers and their billing info. The purpose is to just make things easier so the customer can just go online-- click, click, click the parts they need, and get a phone call the next business day confirming their order and shipping it out to them. I hope this makes sense and any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!! |

You can use an ecommerce shopping cart to do that instead of building something from the ground up. There are plenty free ones and some that are better and cost less than $300.00. ---------------------------------------- "The art of life lies in a constant readjustment to our surroundings." -Okakura Kakuzo Save the developers<!> Maine Webworks |

Hi, Our new shopping cart tutorial will easily show you how to do this. You have to know a little php, but since I have hours of free videos .. you should be OK. To be clear, to get the complete shopping cart tutorial with the shopping cart code there is the HUGE cost of $19.99. .. But then again, the beginners videos are free. At the same time BTW, you will learn more about XML. ---------------------------------------- Stefan Mischook Video Tutorial Store | Web Templates |
