I am almost done developing this e-commerce site and my client just asked me to add a shopping cart. I have some templates, but I want to start from scratch, is there a specific way of starting to do it? What should I consider when building a shopping cart? |

Why reinvent the wheel? There are shopping carts out there already, these are built by people with the knowledge of this and security. Security is a must for e-commerce and the changes of programming a hole in security doing it yourself is high. Best is to use one that exists and is secure and regulerly updated. Web developers must recognize when it is better to create things and when it is better to use what exists. We are talking about the securtity of your customer's business and the customer's customer's info. ---------------------------------------- Gu.aal kwsh yak'i itakw ijeet wugoodk LSW-WebDesign.com |
