What is the most accurate color proofing monitor on the market?

Hey guys, Im looking into getting a new monitor and I want the very best monitor on the market for color proofing, I work with a lot of print stuff and want a monitor that will match my pantone charts AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE! Anyone have any suggestions..Opinions?? Thanks!

I would suggest you write/call printing agencies and ask what they use. Otherwise Google, either the question or for print related forums.

One place to ask would be Computer Arts Magazine Forum.

Get any monitor and calibrate it. You can buy these devices that suction onto your monitor and calibrate it for you.

Look up "Color Profiles" for windows XP/Vista, or Adobe Gamma
