Topic: Floatbox no longer free

Since v3.5 Floatbox is no longer free. It now requires a key to use without pop-ups apparently.

My question is does this mean my commercial site can no longer use the older version or is it okay to keep using a <3.5 copy?

That's a question to ask the developer of Floatbox -- I didn't see anything in their licensing policy about that. You probably are fine though.

Although I won't discount the fact that floatbox could be useful, there are a wide range of lightbox clones out there for free: http://planetozh.com/projects/lightbox-clones/
