Topic: Changing hosts for a client, Will it effect pagerank?

Is there some trick to this when switching hosts? I did it on another site and the PR dropped from 1 to 0. I'm not sure if it was the host switch that did it.

As long as you keep the same domain name, then search engines won't even know that the host has changed.

Page rank is a very dynamic thing and can depend on how many links there are to your site.

Concur. Same domain AND same urls for all other pages otherwise you will need to do redirects.
