Topic: my url on lots of peoples google maps entries?
Was checking my web stats and noticed that I was getting hits for areas of the country I haven't aimed my site content or maps entry at.
I went to one of the search pages and there was a google maps entry in the search results that was not my business, phone number or address but was using my url.
After searching google maps for my url there are loads sites that are all in same type of business using my url.
In the google maps entry when you view "more info" it has a cache of the site, which is in these entries my site.
Are they using my url because i'm well indexed and it will better their position in the maps results?
